helps towards covering the cost of our staff team holding one to one support sessions with residents.

could buy a ‘Move On’ pack of cleaning materials and essentials for a new home when a resident moves on from Restore into their own tenancy.

would cover the cost of a community hub session for current and former residents, such as a weekly afternoon creative cafe.

Giving a gift in your Will

We all like to think our life will leave a legacy. Your legacy may be through the lives in which you have had an influence.

You can also leave a financial gift in your Will to the continuing work of Restore to prevent homelessness in York. It’s never too early to write a Will and it's often good to have help, such as the advice of a Solicitor.

After you have made arrangements for your family or friends, why not leave a gift to Restore? A gift to a charity can be tax efficient if your estate attracts inheritance tax, so your money will go even further. If you don’t have any children or other descendants, you could leave property to Restore to use for our charitable aims.
