Jenni and Becki in training

The Yorkshire Marathon on the 7th October  has become a Morathon for Restore. A host of runners (well more than one) are lining up to take part in the Corporate Marathon where they will complete the 26 miles in a relay to raise funds.

This year we are opening our eighth house making room for thirty one people who used to be homeless to have somewhere to live. This has meant adding a new member of staff too. She is Jenni Street (on the left in the photograph), who joined us very recently and is literally finding her feet in the team. The other runners are Ed and Laura Hambleton, Becki Dean, Jonny Wooldridge and Josh MacDonald, each running between 5 and 10 kilometres.

Every year we have to raise enough money to cover the cost of providing support for our tenants and to make their lives as comfortable as possible. Volunteers and staff have stepped forward again to train and run the miles. We hope their efforts will inspire you to donate to the work of Restore.

So to make all their efforts worthwhile click here and dig deep. Turn their marathon into a Morathon – More Runners – More Houses – More Sponsors.  Thank you.
