Restore is looking to engage an experienced Development Officer to advance it’s work housing people in York who are homeless.
The person we are hoping to engage will apply for grants and donations, broaden our contacts with businesses, churches and Christian groups in the city, organise fundraising events, and develop and grow our team of volunteers.
This a new post and as such is initially offered as a one year appointment, although our aim is to make it a permanent post following a review, if funding allows. Salary is expected be around £20,000 pa dependent on skills and experience.

Restore (York) Ltd is a charity founded and run by Christians for the benefit of people who are homeless without prejudice. We currently provide tenancies for up to 26 people in seven houses, with more expansion planned in 2016. The person we engage will become part of a small team comprising three support staff and an administrator. In the initial stages this post will work closely with the Chairman and the board of trustees.
