Sitting in Thomas the Bakers tea room in Driffield your three cyclists have covered 40 miles this morning. With the wind behind us and the relatively gentle hills of the Wolds we’ve made stunning progress. No rain, punctures, or incidents to slow us down. Thanks for the donations that have come as we’ve made our way through the many hamlets and villages along the way. It feels like just a few miles to go after lunch. Brid here we come – after we’ve finished our cheese and ham toasties.
